The Connect – Beginning of Exploration

The project explores the complete form of the land to establish a meaningful connection between the terrain and the lake. One of the key challenges was working with the existing buildings while strengthening the relationship between the built form and the water, thereby giving life and continuity to the landscape.

Concept

Another major challenge was preserving the architectural language of Ahangama. The pathway from the road to the sauna was reinterpreted as an extension of the lake edge, allowing the waterline to guide the spatial experience of the project. Living elements and activity zones were introduced along this path to activate the landscape and create a vibrant connection between people, architecture, and nature.
